Even though we have been using the new climbing structure this summer it was not completely done and we used only parts of it. I managed to complete it over vacation break, so the kids could enjoy all of it. Must say I’m totally happy with how my vision came to life. The sand play spaces allow for both the kitchen and digging. We can add in natural elements without worry. Have finally been able to get the see-saw set up again for usage. What I love most is the play that the stepping logs are getting. I figured the kids would be into the up, down, jump, challenge steps and balancing.
Thank you to my husband for helping me build what my mind had pictured (from all my Pinterest Outdoor Classroom pins) and to Keith Lawrence for supplying me with the reclaimed telephone poles.
Love that this build allows for more to be added over time to continue to meet the needs of active, creative outside play.
